Regulatory Governance

National Consulting Limited (NCL) recognizes the challenges facing credit unions in meeting the fast paced and ever-changing regulatory environment. This area is intended to support Saskatchewan credit unions in understanding and meeting regulatory expectations and requirements. Using a risk-based approach, NCL develops valuable resources to provide regulatory services.

We provide comprehensive and dedicated resources (tangible and advisory support) as well as regulatory environmental alignment and support to Saskatchewan credit unions to assist in meeting regulatory obligations.

Third-Party Risk Assessment Services

NCL has introduced this area after listening to the needs and wants of credit unions across Canada. With an objective of using a shared cost model to provide efficiencies to credit unions where multiple credit unions are performing similar (or same) work. NCL will perform third party risk assessments on system common vendors and provide their opinion and outcomes/commentary customized to credit unions who purchase the output. This allows the key third parties to be assessed once rather than each credit union conducting the assessment independently.
